Santa Fe Apparel Inc. was founded in 1995 by Joseph DeGaetano and Victor Rousso, of Rousso Apparel Group. The company was formed to create an outerwear collection that would lie on the cutting edge of the fashion industry. Through the years, Santa Fe has become known in the industry for designing and manufacturing quality garments for the trend-savvy consumer. The company prides itself not only on its dedication to creating and providing the industry with the latest trends, but making these trends available at an affordable price to a wide array of consumers.
In 1998, Santa Fe Apparel created the CoffeeShop label – a new and energetic, fashion-forward line for juniors. The brand, which is carried in major department stores, chain stores and in over 200 specialty boutiques, has more than tripled in sales over the last five years. The jackets, coats and sportswear that make up the CoffeeShop label are crafted from high quality textiles and consistently bring new fashion trends and styles to the young women of today. Furthermore, the CoffeeShop label was able to transition from a boutique label to a brand of its own during a time when the economy and market were not in its favor. This proved further to its creators, as well as the industry, that CoffeeShop is a line that could thrive when many of its competitors were beginning to fall.
The success of CoffeeShop enabled Santa Fe Apparel to develop four additional collections over the past six years. The company proudly introduced LatteBLACK(a contemporary, fashion forward line), Latte by Coffeeshop(a line geared towards the more missy customer) Grind(a young men’s line) and CoffeeShop Kids. The company looks forward to further developing each line and continuing to expand the dynamics of Santa Fe Apparel.
